The Adolescent Quality of Life Scale has recently been developed to assess how young people perceive their wellbeing and the quality of their lives. This questionnaire was developed for 15 to 17-year-olds who consume alcohol, and this study aims to test whether the questions are a good fit for assessing its target age-group. In addition, Queen’s University Belfast are also interested in exploring how young people’s quality of life is associated with their alcohol consumption, mental health, and the strategies they use to regulate their own emotions.
